Dear OET,

We are Fabrice and Marie. I am 32 years old and my wife is 33. I work as a salesman and my wife is a manager in a Town Hall. We live at 25 kilometres from Toulouse (the capital of Rugby and aviation in France) and 15 kms from the airport, in a small village with 400 inhabitants only. We have recently bought this 3-bedroom house and are very happy to live in the countryside. We have got a cat. Our neighbours own horses and there are forests around with cycling, running and horse-riding tracks. A sports center with tennis courts, swimming pool, mini golf... is not very far from the house. There are little possibilities of public transport, but we would be happy to give you a lift as often as possible to Toulouse or else, and at week-ends we will be very pleased to show you the region Midi-Pyrénnées. You will have the opportunity to attend a typical french wedding party for the last Week end of July in Dordogne, as one of my cousin is getting married. This WE will be followed by a trip of a few days in Correze.

As we have already planned a trip from July the 8th to July the 12th, you will get the choice of staying on your own at home or going at my sister's, who lives with her husband and her 2 year old daugther in the same village or plannng a trip on your own.

I am a former rugby player myself but you will have little chance to attend a play at this moment of the year. We enjoy recieving friends for dinners and Barbecue parties. We like reading, so you'll get the choice of many books from classics to modern french litterature in the house.

We are eager to host you to discover your culture and to practise english (my level: advanced, I taught french in England for one year; my wife's: lower intermediate). Maybe some formal lessons in grammar for my wife are to be planned, but we'd rather have conversations on an informal basis to discover you and your culture.

If you are ready to spend 6 weeks in our environment, you are very wellcome and don't forget your swimming suit as a trip to the seaside is not impossible.
