New Host Businesses
The USA Work & Travel employers include amusement parks, ski resorts, retailers, restaurant and fast-food chains, hotels and many other companies located throughout the United States. CHI provides them with enthusiastic and motivated international staff in various seasonal and temporary job positions.
CHI is designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor participants in an exchange visitor program under the USA Work & Travel Program. This gives us a chance to offer many US businesses a different and rewarding solution for their employment needs during the peak of the spring, summer or winter season.
- All participants on the USA Work & Travel program are university students with strong English skills who are authorized to accept employment in the United States for up to 4 months.
- The participants enroll in the program during the period that coincides with their official summer holiday in their home country.

Student Availability
CHI Traveler - Mileage & Referral Program
This program was designed with the goal of giving all of you the opportunity of spreading the word about the benefits of the Work & Travel program to other American businesses, and earning CHI miles at the same time. Due to program specifics and limited availability, only the largest employers qualify to participate in our overseas travels and experience firsthand the hiring events in these amazing countries. Now, we are giving this chance to everyone!
How can you participate?
- Refer CHI's Work & Travel Program to other businesses in your area, your industry, or just about anywhere nationwide.
- For every business which registers and employs WT participants, you earn 10,000 CHI miles. You will be able to see your mileage balance in your online profile.
- Once you earn 70,000 CHI miles, you qualify to participate in a CHI hiring tour abroad. We will be happy to place you in the most appropriate tour based on your needs and the various markets' needs.
- You join a team of experienced CHI travelers and get to meet your participants in person
- Once you are back, we are sure you will be on your way towards your new 70,000 miles!!!

Insurance
The participant insurance is compulsory and is included in the program fee. The insurance is valid for a maximum of 4 months. Coverage is through CORIS USA, Inc.

Should the student become ill, it is recommended that they go to the nearest hospital or medical facility. If it is a true emergency, they should go to an emergency room. Most hospitals will take the insurance and bill the carrier, minus the deductible. Most Urgent Care facilities ask for payment upfront. In that case, the participant should pay and submit a claims form to CORIS USA Inc. for reimbursement, minus the deductible.
