GROUP HOMESTAY PROGRAM

By volunteering to open your home and heart to the world's young people, you are donating to them an uncommon gift: an offer of friendship, a willingness to share yourself and your way of life, and a genuine interest in learning about other cultures and customs. CHI host families are special people of extraordinary goodwill and generosity of spirit. Most important of all, they are willing to make a difference in their own family, their community, their country and ultimately the world.

Host families participating in this program have the unique opportunity of experiencing what it's like to have a foreign student as a member of their family for a short period of time (programs vary from 4 days on up to 6 weeks.) If you are interested in becoming a host family for one of these students, contact Area Administrator Kathy Lawrence at chikathy@chinet.org.
