
The Hospitality Training Program is a 12-month practical learning experience related to your course of study and your career development objectives. Participation in the HTP will improve your understanding of American hospitality business practices and methodologies in the hospitality profession. You will also gain valuable insight into American culture and society.
CHI's HTP offers two program options to satisfy each individual's needs:

Self-Arranged Training Program
You may research and contract your own training placement and housing.

Highly qualified candidates can be placed in Hospitality Training positions, including Hotel Management, Tourism Management, and Culinary Management.
CHI provides:
The Hospitality Program host businesses are world renowned properties, such as the Hilton Hotels, the Sheraton, the Renaissance Grand, Hyatt Regency, the Four Seasons, Crowne Plaza, and Merrit Hospitality, along with the finest 3-5 star resort boutique hotels and spas. CHI provides all of our host businesses with enthusiastic and motivated international interns and trainees in various roles within the operation of the hospitality industry.

All Hospitality participants sponsored by CHI are supported during the course of their program. CHI provides ongoing supervision and assistance with securing a social security number, which takes the burden off of our host businesses. All of our host businesses are assigned a contact coordinator, who is able to assist with questions a about the program and about J-1 visa regulations.
All participants are guaranteed to have at least 1 year of solid educational or professional experience in the hospitality industry. Most participants are university graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in a hospitality discipline, or are university graduates with a specialized Diploma in the hospitality discipline.
