The Internship Program in the USA is a maximum 12 month practical learning experience related to your course of
study. If you are interested in improving your understanding of American business practices and methodologies, this is

II. CHI Arranged Unpaid Internship and housing placement
CHI will place you in a well-matched Internship as well as locate your housing arrangements CHI provides:

- Local supervision and guidance by CHI
- J-1 visa documentation
- Intern handbook
- Unpaid training positions in a wider variety of career fields.

III. CHI Arranged Paid Internship
Highly qualified candidates are eligible to be placed at CHI arranged paid Internship positions in the following
occupational categories: Marketing, Hospitality, Business Management, Engineering, Architecture and Social Sciences.
CHI also assists with housing for an additional fee.
CHI Provides:
- A paid internship placement with a career—related company
- Personal orientation by local CHI staff
- Local supervision and guidance by CHI
- J1 visa documentation
- Internship handbook
- Assistance with securing a Social Security card
Requirements
In addition to the regular IP eligibility requirements, the candidate in this option
must also:
- Be currently enrolled in a degree or certificate granting post-secondary academic institution outside the U.S.
OR
- Graduated from an institution within 12 months of the internship start date in the U.S.
- A minimum 550 TOEFL or equivalent English test score
- Have an academic focus and/or career experience related to the following
categories:
- Arts and Culture; Information Media and Communications;
- Education Social Sciences, Library Sciences, Counseling and Social services;
- Management Business; Commerce, Finance; Sciences, Engineering, Architecture; Mathematics, and industrial
Occupations; Public Administration and Law.
- Submit proof of upper intermediate English ability and supporting documents of language ability
- Submit a completed application form and supporting documents.
