A group of Japanese seniors (55+) are participating in CHI"s Second Life Homestay this summer!

For the 6th year our friends from Spain will return with new students.  These High School students will be here to celebrate the 4th of July holiday.  Students are kept busy Monday through Friday with English Conversation Classes, all day trips, cultural exchanges and visiting local hot spots.   Volunteer Host Families provide room and board and a loving family.  Host Families are always welcome to participate in all afternoon and all day activities.

Mixed age students from Chongqing , China .  Students will have class in the morning and activities in the afternoon Mon- Fri.  Evenings and weekends are spent with the host family.

We are happy to host this group from Mainland China.  Chinese students are so happy to be a part of an American family.  They are enthusiastic and appreciative of everything.  These High School and Junior High School students attend classes daily and participate in cultural exchanges.  The students visit places like Disneyland and Santa Barbara.  Students are fully insured and bring their own spending money. High school students

This is an Intensive English Program (IEP).  These students from many places in Japan will spend this month preparing to be high school students in America.  Students are in class from 8:30 until 3pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 to 11:30 on Fridays. Each student will fly to their host family for the school year at the end of the program.  Students are fully insured and bring their own spending money. Volunteer Host Families provide room and board and a loving family.  Hosting families help their students adjust to an American lifestyle.

This group is coming from Bunan High School which is located in Warabi city in the Saitama  Prefecture on Japan's east coast.  These High School students will attend English Conversation classes each morning Monday through Friday and participate in cultural exchanges and outings in the afternoon.  They will also visit Disneyland and Santa Barbara with the group.  Students are fully insured and bring their own spending money. Volunteer Host Families provide room and board and a loving family.  Host families are welcome to participate on all full day trips and afternoon activities.
