North America is an exciting and unknown land for many young students. They want to discover if what they have heard about us is really true. Both the students and their parents appreciate the environment of a homestay program as an excellent way to learn about North America and improve English skills.

Homestay programs are becoming ever more popular as the students return home impressed by the friendliness, openness, and generosity of the North American people. They come to respect the freedom and the deep moral purpose of our country that we, ourselves, so often take for granted.

Due to the overseas schools' demand to experience North America, we have expanded our Group Homestay Department to include Campus Programs. CHI has formed partnerships with dozens of colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada. The college or university ESL department supplies the English instruction to our students and CHI does the rest. The union has proved to be beneficial to all sides. The advantage to the serious ESL participant is that they are not only getting the best English tutoring, but also an excellent CHI host family experience.
