A Global Partner's Role


Our global partners are actively involved in every step of CHI's Camp Leaders program. From recruitment to the visa application, from the orientation and the support during the period of the program to the return of the students, as a CHI global partner you will be managing the CHI's Camp Leader Program. Together we will make a difference and an experience of a lifetime!

As a CHI Camp Leader Program global partner, you will be responsible for:


  1. Promoting CHI's Camp Leader Program to a specific type of clients – teachers, youth leaders, recreational/sports specialists.

  2. Screening candidates for eligibility, including:
    - Oversee application process and collect necessary documentation.
    - Verify application and references, including criminal background check.
    - Test for English language ability.

  3. Organizing a home country orientation for all CHI Camp Leaders program participants. Topics to include:
    - Program rules.
    - DS 2019 and J-1 Visa regulations.
    - Arrival procedures.
    - Camp environment and team atmosphere.
    - Work expectations; participant responsibilities.
    - Financial responsibilities, taxation and documentation.
    - U.S. laws.

  4. Working with CHI to assist with the visa application process and travel arrangements.

  5. Communicating with CHI on a consistent and regular basis.

  6. Welcoming the program participants at the end of CHI's Camp Leaders program; assist with collecting feedback and evaluation of their experience! This helps CHI and our global partners improve upon service and quality.
