U.S. high school and experience living with a volunteer host family.

Who is a successful CHI AYP exchange student program applicant?

- Contacting one of CHI's partner agents abroad in order to complete the application packet and provide all
necessary supporting documentation.
What does the program include?
- Accommodations and board with a volunteer host family;
- Enrollment in a U.S. public high school for either 5-months or 10-months;
- Arrival orientation in the U.S.;
- Dedicated support and supervision by a local CHI Academic Coordinator, Academic Program Administrator and CHI
headquarters staff;
- Monthly progress reports and program evaluation;
- Airport transfers to nearest airport from host community;
- Issuance of the DS 2019 form to apply for the J-1 Exchange Visitor visa.
The program does not include: school fees, including school lunches, personal expenses, textbooks & school supplies

Where are the placement locations?
In order to introduce the international exchange student to the diversity of the U.S., as well as provide a truly
intercultural and educational experience, CHI determines the location of the homestay placement which can vary from
